Open Plan Living

The brief: To create a larger living space with dining area. By removing the half wall between the living and dining area we created an 'L' shaped open plan room. The dining area, although on square foot had not changed, the removal of the half wall made the space look and feel twice as big. We integrated the T.V into a bespoke cabinet designed and manufactured by us and repeated the general design for the radiator covers which all had a hand painted finish. The oversize sofa (made by us) is the central point of the room and is exactly what the client asked for: to be able to seat 10 comfortably. The Coffee table clad in faux leather has a sliding panel which stores their young families extra toys! The colour scheme is of a neutral palette with accessories (art, pillows) giving the room the accents of colour.
